Tengo regolarmente recital solistici e cameristici (prevalentemente in duo con il pianista Alessandro Stella) per Casa da Guitarra di Porto, Conservatoire Royal de Mons, Camerino Festival, Ass. ChitarraIn, Peccioliper, Cantar Lontano, Zona Livre AC of Vila Real, Conservatorio Rossini di Pesaro, Carpi Guitar International, Lira Orfeo Miguel Llobet, Andes Guitar Festival, Radio Nacional Córdoba, Trame Sonore, Scodanibbio Music Festival, Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano, Conservatorio “José Castro” di Buenos Aires, Estate Teatrale Veronese, Pietà de’ Turchini di Napoli, Sagra Musicale Malatestiana di Rimini, etc.
Il mio primo album si chiama Catalunya, è uscito nel 2016 per l’etichetta GuitArt e raccoglie musiche di Jaume Pahissa, Gaspar Cassadó, Miguel Llobet e Manuel de Falla suonate con una chitarra storica (Antonio Emilio Pascual Viudes del 1925) incordata in budello e seta rivestita. Una puntata di Ritratti, di Radio Classica, condotta da Luca Ciammarughi è dedicata a questa incisione.
Nel 2017 sono stato invitato da Carles Trepat a partecipare alla serie di concerti, che si sono tenuti in Italia e Spagna, celebrativi del liutaio Antonio de Torres a 200 anni dalla sua nascita.
Nello stesso anno ho contribuito alle musiche del film Due soldati di Marco Tullio Giordana incidendo un mio arrangiamento del preludio-corale Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ di Johann Sebastian Bach, che accompagna i titoli di coda del film.
Nel 2018 ho pubblicato Bach & Tárrega: Preludes and Dances per l’etichetta Continuo Records. Dino Villatico lo recensisce tra gli album consigliati de La Repubblica: «…Palazzesi, che di Bach suona una trascrizione dal violoncello, accetta anche la sfida timbrica. E coglie nel segno. Il timbro è piegato a decifrare il contrappunto. Fraseggio libero e fluido fanno il resto. Una meraviglia, Preludio fuga e allegro di Bach, alla fine. Ma alla radice c'è la mutevolezza dei ritmi, che trascorre da una danza all'altra. Il contrappunto esalta i timbri della chitarra».
Nel 2019 ho pubblicato per DaVinci Classics Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco - Time Regained: Early Works for Solo Guitar, album monografico sulla musica per chitarra scritta dal compositore fiorentino negli anni che precedono il suo esilio negli Stati Uniti. Il disco è segnalato dal critico statunitense Ted Gioia tra le duecento migliori pubblicazioni del 2019.
Nel 2020, suonando la musica di Hans Werner Henze, ho affiancato Michela Cescon e Alessio Boni nella pièce Fuga a tre voci, drammaturgia e regia di Marco Tullio Giordana, basata sul carteggio Hans Werner Henze - Ingeborg Bachmann.
Nel 2021 ho pubblicato per l’etichetta Martinville l’album As from Far Away, con musiche di Tōru Takemitsu, Hans Werner Henze e John Dowland.
Sempre nel 2021 sono tra i solisti della WunderKammer Orchestra diretta da Carlo Tenan, con Cristina Zavalloni voce solista, nell'originale progetto intorno a La cubana di Hans Werner Henze che culmina nel film Ay Rachel! di Alberto Girotto e nel concerto Recuerda Cuba per la Sagra Musicale Malatestiana di Rimini.
Nel 2022 pubblico (in)complete preludes per Extended Place, incisione integrale dei preludi per chitarra di Manuel Ponce. Presento il disco a Radio 3 Suite intervistato da Guido Barbieri.

My debut album, Catalunya, was released in 2016 under the GuitArt label. It features music by Jaume Pahissa, Gaspar Cassadó, Miguel Llobet, and Manuel de Falla played on a historical guitar (Antonio Emilio Pascual Viudes from 1925) with gut and silk strings. An episode of Ritratti on Radio Classica, hosted by Luca Ciammarughi, is dedicated to this recording.
In 2017, I was invited by Carles Trepat to participate in a series of concerts held in Italy and Spain to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the luthier Antonio de Torres.
That same year, I contributed to the music of the film Due Soldati by Marco Tullio Giordana by recording my arrangement of the chorale prelude Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ by Johann Sebastian Bach, which accompanies the end credits of the film.
In 2018, I released Bach & Tárrega: Preludes and Dances under the Continuo Records label. Dino Villatico reviewed it as one of the recommended albums in La Repubblica: "...Palazzesi, who transcribes Bach from the cello, also accepts the timbral challenge. And he hits the mark. The timbre is bent to decipher the counterpoint. Free and fluid phrasing does the rest. A marvel, Bach's Prelude, Fugue, and Allegro, in the end. But at the root lies the mutability of rhythms, which transitions from one dance to another. The counterpoint enhances the guitar tones."
In 2019, I released Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco - Time Regained: Early Works for Solo Guitar for DaVinci Classics, a monographic album on the guitar music written by the Florentine composer in the years preceding his exile in the United States. The album is noted by American critic Ted Gioia among the two hundred best releases of 2019.
In 2020, while performing the music of Hans Werner Henze, I joined Michela Cescon and Alessio Boni in the piece Fuga a tre voci, dramaturgy and direction by Marco Tullio Giordana, based on the correspondence between Hans Werner Henze and Ingeborg Bachmann.

Also in 2021, I was among the soloists of the WunderKammer Orchestra conducted by Carlo Tenan, with Cristina Zavalloni as soloist, in the original project around Hans Werner Henze's La Cubana, which culminates in Alberto Girotto's film Ay Rachel! and the concert Recuerda Cuba for the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana in Rimini.
